First In






I welcome you to my blog site; I hope to show you the fire service in NLC in some interesting events. During the next few years, I will improve on the content and photos to keep you coming back for more. I take pride in my photography and try my best to be first in when possible. The majority of the photos will be from the Norwich companies & surrounding area departments, but sometimes I Buff out of state cities for a change of pace.

Ledyard (Gales Ferry) District 2nd Alarm 02-17-07

Gales Ferry & Ledyard fire departments responded to 5 Warbler Way, for a reported house fire. Chief Saccone arrived to find the home with an attached garage fully involved and heavy fire in 1/4 of the home, spreading fast. Mutual Aid was requested and long with a Tanker Task Force. Crews stretched a blitz fire, to knockdown the main body of fire. While working of  tank water, as the tankers arrived, crews worked to control the fire. The stubborn fire, Worked it way into all levels of the home including the basement. A 2nd alarm was requested, for manpower to extinguish the fire.

Wethersfield W/F 1-29-17

Wethersfield fire responded to Crest St & Western Blvd. for a building fire, they arrived and found private swim club building well involved on arrival about 1430 hours.
