First In






I welcome you to my blog site; I hope to show you the fire service in NLC in some interesting events. During the next few years, I will improve on the content and photos to keep you coming back for more. I take pride in my photography and try my best to be first in when possible. The majority of the photos will be from the Norwich companies & surrounding area departments, but sometimes I Buff out of state cities for a change of pace.



As of late I have missed or worked a lot of the incidents. I have a great support group of Photographers to help the site keep up with all the incidents. There are too many to list, So thanks for your support. Thanks for visiting and enjoy .RD Ladd

Griswold Working fire, 03-25-20

Around 12:45 Griswold and M/A was dispatched to 10 Beach Drive for a reported shed fire. ET-55 arrived to find a 10x15 shed and the B side of a home involved with fire. A working fire was declared and at that time, a request for a tanker task-force. First due crews knocked the main-body of fire down, and worked on the hot spots for about an hr. The FMO is investigating the incident.

Bozrah MVA w/pin 03-03-20 (Delayed)

Bozrah fire and auto aid from East Great Plan fire, was Dispatched around 07:15 for a reported MVA with rollover, at (Rt-82) Salem Turn pike and Nobel Hill. Crews found a two 2 vehicle accident with two pined, one in each car. Rescue 5 worked the rollover vehicle and Bozrah worked the mini-Van. At least one occupant has serious injuries, both were transported to Backus Hospital, by Bozrah and American Ambulances. CSP and Norwich Police Department responded.
