First In

I welcome you to my blog site; I hope to show you the fire service in NLC in some interesting events. During the next few years, I will improve on the content and photos to keep you coming back for more. I take pride in my photography and try my best to be first in when possible. The majority of the photos will be from the Norwich companies & surrounding area departments, but sometimes I Buff out of state cities for a change of pace.

As of late I have missed or worked a lot of the incidents. I have a great support group of Photographers to help the site keep up with all the incidents. There are too many to list, So thanks for your support. Thanks for visiting and enjoy .RD Ladd

3 days, 3 major events. 04/21-23/23

In the last few days Eastern Ct, had 3 major fire related events, I missed them all. First was a MVA which involved an oil tanker, which rolled over and caught fire after hitting a car, This was on I-95 Sb on the Gold Star Bridge in Groton, About 10+ departments and agencies responded. These photos are from several photographers, most unknown.

The 2nd Incident was in Montville at the Scrap Yard, The pile was well involved on arrival, and companies work for about 10 hrs to bring this under control. This fire required about 10 Departments, Mostly tankers for water supply.

and the 3rd incident was in Eastford, a 3rd alarm Church fire early this morning (4-23) Heavy fire conditions on arrival.
