Montville Ct, Scrapyard fire 04-23-25

 All town departments was dispatched to 33 Pequot Rd,Connecticut Scrap for the pile on fire, First due found the pile heavily involved. A request for 3 ladders and 10 tanker was added to the assignment. Crews set up 3 draft sites, along with 2 fill locations for the tankers at the 3 ladders set up, several hand lines and blitz fire was placed in service. Drop tanks and the tanker shuttle also provided water for close to 5 hrs. I arrived about 1.5hrs into the fire, as crews worked the final section of the fire. in the end 14 tankers responded along with support engines and manpower.
