First In






I welcome you to my blog site; I hope to show you the fire service in NLC in some interesting events. During the next few years, I will improve on the content and photos to keep you coming back for more. I take pride in my photography and try my best to be first in when possible. The majority of the photos will be from the Norwich companies & surrounding area departments, but sometimes I Buff out of state cities for a change of pace.



As of late I have missed or worked a lot of the incidents. I have a great support group of Photographers to help the site keep up with all the incidents. There are too many to list, So thanks for your support. Thanks for visiting and enjoy .RD Ladd

FYI

Thanks again for visiting my blog. We have had over 8000 hits in the last 6 months, not bad for basically word of mouth. I have noticed that some departments are using some of my photos on their web sites. I have no problem with this, but please just let me know, and if you could please place me in your links. If any one would like a high-resolution copy of a photo contact me at, laddr68@yahoo.com. The photos on this site are reduced by 75% and are just a few of the shots from each incident.

I have just upgraded to a new digital camera, a Nikon D70s, so I hope to bring you sharper images and clearer nighttime photos. So thanks for stopping by and stay safe. Congratulations to Bozrah Fire Department in wining the Weekly cook off at Mohegan Suns Wild Wednesday's fire department cook off. The ribs from both teams were great they were up against The Mohegan Tribe Team. Next week New London vs. Mashantucket. Team BFD at work.
