East Great Plain, 2nd Alarm 11-04-10

At 10:04, EGPFD was dispatched to the Friendly's Restaurant on Rt-82 in Norwich for a Kitchen fire. Car-1 reported smoke coming from the building then upgraded it to a working fire. He requested one and one from the city, changed to 2 engines. Car -5 EGP command upgraded the fire to a 2nd alarm, Yantic and Laurel Hill for Heavy fire in the attic. Mohegan tribal was called for FAST. Crews entered the building and found the entrance to the 2nd floor, to attack the fire, as other pulled the dinning room ceiling to access the front of the space. In a short time the fire was knocked down.

I may receive some more later now back to Detroit Action. I have at least 5 more from the city.
