First In

I welcome you to my blog site; I hope to show you the fire service in NLC in some interesting events. During the next few years, I will improve on the content and photos to keep you coming back for more. I take pride in my photography and try my best to be first in when possible. The majority of the photos will be from the Norwich companies & surrounding area departments, but sometimes I Buff out of state cities for a change of pace.

As of late I have missed or worked a lot of the incidents. I have a great support group of Photographers to help the site keep up with all the incidents. There are too many to list, So thanks for your support. Thanks for visiting and enjoy .RD Ladd

Thanks again for visiting my blog. We have had over 8000 hits in the last 6 months, not bad for basically word of mouth. I have noticed that some departments are using some of my photos on their web sites. I have no problem with this, but please just let me know, and if you could please place me in your links. If any one would like a high-resolution copy of a photo contact me at, laddr68@yahoo.com. The photos on this site are reduced by 75% and are just a few of the shots from each incident.

Gardner Lake MVA, 08-08-06

A 2-car MVA on RTE 354 in Salem. Veh #1 (bright green) was traveling south and making a left turn into a driveway, vehicle # 2 (dark green) was heading north and drove right into the passenger side of veh #1, which landed approximately 100' from the road against the foundation of the house. The driver of veh #1 was transported to WWBH by Gardner Lake's ambulance (luckily there was no passenger) and the driver and passenger of veh #2 were also transported to WWBH by Colchester's ambulance.
